Who runs this, what the product is, and where the line falls between a telehealth platform and a doctor.
The product
HardRx is a prescription treatment for erectile dysfunction: sildenafil and tadalafil together in one tablet that dissolves under the tongue. It comes from Hard Health, a telehealth company operating out of Huntington Beach, California.
The reasoning behind it is not complicated. Two of the most prescribed ED medications in the world have complementary weaknesses, and men routinely bounce between them trying to get both speed and duration. Putting both in one dose ends that.
What we are, and what we are not
Hard Health arranges telehealth consultations between patients and independent licensed providers. We are not a medical provider and we do not practise medicine. Prescribing decisions belong to independent licensed U.S. physicians, and dispensing belongs to a PCAB-accredited pharmacy.
This distinction is worth stating plainly because a lot of companies in this space blur it. We cannot approve you, we do not want the ability to, and a physician saying no is the system working rather than failing.
Credentials
LegitScript Certified
Certification that verifies a healthcare merchant operates lawfully and meets published transparency and compliance standards.
PCAB Accredited Pharmacy
Prescriptions are dispensed by a pharmacy accredited through the Pharmacy Compounding Accreditation Board.
Independent U.S. physicians
Reviews are carried out by doctors licensed in the United States, in line with the telemedicine rules of your state.
Dispensed domestically
Medication is prepared and shipped within the United States, in packaging that identifies nothing.
What we try to get right
- Discretion by default. Unmarked parcels, no video call in most states, nothing on a bank statement that announces itself.
- Honesty about the ceiling. This manages a symptom for the length of a dose. It does not resolve ED, it does not produce desire, and it does not suit every man.
- A review that means something. The nitrate interaction can kill people. Screening is not a formality here.
- Easy exits. Pause or cancel before the next delivery, without a retention conversation.
